IMG_8632Rosa Reyes-Santana is a bilingual therapist (Espanol e Ingles), who earned her Master of Clinical Social Work degree from Barry University. She also received a Bachelor degree in Psychology from York University, and a degree in Mental Health Counseling, with a minor in Criminal Justice from George Brown College. She has worked in inpatient, outpatient, and community mental health since 1998, with children, adolescents, families, couples, and groups.

Rosa’s work in community mental health focused on sexual and domestic violence, trauma work, and crisis intervention with victims of crimes, and homicides. She worked in inpatient mental health as a psychoeducational specialist and psychotherapist, group facilitator, individual therapist and providing diagnostic assessments. She has worked and done trainings in mental health issues in Dominican Republic, Haiti, Mexico, Canada, Florida, California, and Ohio.

Rosa aspires to put in practice the core values of the profession, such as social justice, dignity and worth of the person, importance of human relationships, integrity, competence, as well as gospel values.
