Mindfulness Skills Practice Group
Next Group meeting to be determined.
Please call to let us know you are interested in the group.
Call Clark at PPI to register: (513) 791-5990, Extension 147
Your therapist has likely encouraged you to “count to 10,” or “take a breath,” or “close your eyes and relax,” or pray, or meditate. They were introducing you to a basic mindfulness skill that is necessary for your healing.
This short course will give you a full education – and a great start – to a mindfulness practice that is perfect for you.
It is open to anyone who wants to learn mindfulness skills, or become better at using mindfulness skills.
At each session we will learn and practice breath focus, vision focus, touch focus, listening, drawing, and moving.
There will be simple mindfulness tasks to do during the week, and we will learn from the report of each others’ experiences.
Facilitated by: Clark Echols, MDiv, LPC

He is certified in therapies (DBT and CPT) that have mindfulness at their core. He has helped men resolve their impulse control problems and anger using mindfulness skills. He has helped men and women moderate their anxiety and depression with mindfulness skills.
